The best neighbourhood - Bangkok

Bangkok is the most lively city in the world. You can spend hours for shopping, get the good food and continue shopping again. I booked two AirAsia tickets for Brian and I in February this year, for just RM511 (included tickets, baggage and taxes.) What a bargain!

After determained the location to stay, I aimed for boutique hotels at Thonglor. Finally, I booked 3 nights at Grass Suites (a Japaneses-style serviced apartment) via Agoda for  RM380.  It's a steal...imagine 1 bedroom apartment with equipped kitchnette and a washing machine? When we entered the apartment, we couldn't stop smiling.

Thonglor is the hip place next to Sukhumvit. You will find all kind of Japanese restaurants here as Japanese tourists love to stay at this area.  Party animals will come here to party at "Muse" and "Funky Villa". Wine lovers will be seen at Wine Republic for jazz and wines.

See our pictures/itineraries in Bkk:

We definitely had a great night at Long Table. Look at the view!

*DAY 3*

After quick breafast in the room, we headed to JJ market.

We spent almost 2 hours sitting down for drinks and music at JJ market.

 Mojito again!

A funny scene

We stayed till 7pm at JJ and decided to Asiatique The Riverfront. It is a newly open night market from 5pm - 12am and we took BTS train and followed by a shuttle boat.
I am following this owner at Instagram. I realized how skinny the girls here, the clothes hardly fitted me:(
Handmade toys, so lovely!

We left the next day and looking forward for the next return in August.  I can't wait to bring Ally for sun and beach in Hua Hin.
